Do you shop online? You need to order something online pronto but are low on your personal budget? Is credit card your last option? Well wait it shouldn't be anymore! Ever heard of Bill Me Later? Here is my view on Bill Me Later.
What is Bill Me Later?
Bill Me Later is a new way of paying for purchases online. It works similarly as a credit card but it offers you a benefit that credit cards normally do not. The difference between Bill Me Later and other lenders is that it can only be used to purchase materials online. It is not offered on all popular website but more and more retailers are adding Bill Me Later as a payment option.
How does Bill Me Later work?
Similar to any lending process there will be a credit score check performed by Bill Me Later before you can create an account on their website. All you have to do is provide them with your last four digits of your social security number. Yes some people will be turned off by that especially sharing your social security number online to a business. Do not fear! Bill Me Later is a reputable company and has many top tier clients like Apple and Walmart.
After you have been approved by Bill Me Later they will pay for your purchase similar to the way a credit card pays for your purchases. All you have to do is provide your information and you are set.
Benefits of Bill Me Later?
Will Bill Me Later you can purchase anything from a number or retailers and can pay it off similar to a credit card. The only difference is that you can get 90 days interest free from Bill Me Later on each purchase. So you may not be able to pay the lump sum amount today but you can split the payments and pay for your purchase without ever paying interesting on it.
Not so good benefits of Bill Me Later?
Keep in mind that Bill Me Later acts like a credit card, actually it is a credit card facilitated by CIT Bank. You do have to make your payments, like any other credit card you will need to pay late fees if you miss your payments and you will accrue interest on your balance after the 90 day grace period.
Cash Back Offer: Bill Me Later recently added Cash Back offers with many of their merchants when you make a purchase through the BillMeLater.com Cash back portal. As you accumulate cash back it will show up as credit on your statement.

I used this BILL ME LATER service, sorry I ever did....now I get late fees, high interest rate and sorry excuses when I call. Lots of 2 sided answers and no results...looking into it, write, call us back...etc....makes the company I ordered from look bad too!! Better Business Bureau here I come!
Great article! I attempted to sign up for a billmelater account (hoping to build credit) however, I wasn't accepted. I think its a great program, as long as you don't abuse it.
Very well written - well explained! 2 thumbs up!
Thanks for the detailed information about BillMeLater. I just recently notice this service in my Paypal account. This is a great help for people who don't have credit cards. I should try it.
I've had bill me later for about 8 months now. I love it. I used it to my a new laptop and have recently been using it for eBay purchases and have received 6 months no payment and no interest on my purchases so i pay it off within 6 months without having to worry about interest or late fees...I haven't had any issues, but to each their own
