I recently purchased a Gold's Gym Power Spin 210 Upright Bike from Walmart and I have to say I am impressed by the bike.I like stationary bikes because of the ease of use and availability to do so anytime.
Setup:
The instructions provided with the bike are extremely helpful. Actual size images of screws and bolts are given in the manual, this helps when the instructions refer to part number. The entire setup takes approximately 1 - 1.5 hours to complete, unless you have power tools which will go by lot quicker. One important think to note is that you have to buy an AC adapter for the display instrument. This display instrument also works with 4 D batteries. I recommend getting the AC adapter since D batteries are expensive.
Features:
- You have the ability to plug in your iPod and listen to your music via the built in speakers. I think this is a definite bonus feature to have.
- Multiple workout options, I believe there are 8 different settings you can use to choose the degree of workout you prefer.
- Main feature I like the most is the magnetic resistance, basically its a very smooth transition as you change your workout rather than clicking buttons or waiting for the machine to recognize your input
- Also a definite must is having a heart rate monitor. This helps with gauging your workout and determining if you need to slow down or speed up based on the workout you've chosen.
- There is also a fan that keeps you cool while you burn away those calories.
In the end I would recommend this exercise bike for anyone interested in losing a few pounds while watching TV or even listening to music. This machine is very easy to setup, use and does not require a lot of space. I live in an apartment and we don't have a traditional dinning room setup but have housed the bike in there currently. It is also good for people with a lack of time to go riding a bike or even going to the gym.
Edited: Just wanted to update everyone on this great piece of equipment. I use this bike daily now and I feel lot more energetic through out the day and I get to shed few pounds off of me!

Thank you for your review. This is indeed a very good bike, especially for the price! Just as you mentioned it uses 4D batteries and it get pretty expensive -- not to mention a pain to replace them. As you suggested I looked around for the power cord and unfortunately the company will try to get you for another $90 if you buy it from them. Looking around online I found some people have recommended using a universal power cord and others complained that a universal power cord has fried the console. I looked around enough to find a good deal both on eBay starting around $30 (plus shipping) and at a site at homegympower.biz which has them for about $40 shipped. Once you have a AC adapter life with this bike gets alot easier & cheaper!

so i have a question on how to use it because i have this bike.
i understand how to turn it on and all, but once i turn it on i'm not sure how to actually start it. i pedal and press a button but the time doesnt start and the pedaling doesn't change. can u tell me how to do this? thank you ssoooo much
