How to NOT make money from your blog
6512 Easy ways to not make your blog profitable:
1. Write on a topic that only interests cave dwellers or scientists. Try to write on a topic that can be useful to general public rather than a niche group of people.
2. Write your posts in large blocks with at least 15 sentences per paragraph. That makes your post look like giant paragraphs with a lot of fillers.
3. Plagiarize your post, always a good way to get attention, NOT! Don't copy and paste for you will break the 11th commandment.
4. Don't promote your posts, leave it up to the blogging gods to direct traffic to your site and hope people enjoy your material that they come back over & over again.
5. Always write your blog post in a sarcastic tone so you eventually manage to irritate the one reader you had left (does not count for this hub).
6. Reject feedback from peers and readers, their comments are not worth anything anyway.
7. Write on a topic that is so saturated that even if someone searches for it, your page shows up on the 30th page.
8. Don't do your research and write what you think is right.
9. Write an article that is 10,000 words. Makes for a great read right before bed.
10. Detail out your personal laundry in your blog, because everyone wants to know how many bags of potato chips you can eat in one sitting.
Those are the 10 I have for now, please feel free to add yours in the comments below.

11. While writing - never smile. That would mean that your readers won't smile either. :(
12. Loose all faith. Your blog isn't very interesting anyway - and, what the hec, you don't expect anyone to read it.

Great Hub. May I add:

Great, great tips. I've read some really sad blogs; some appearing on my Local Newspaper! Sad, but very true.
What not to wear - for sure! Keep publishing.
